Friendly open plan estate pub kept busy during the week due to various events such as Bingo and Quiz nights, and at weekends with live music and TV sports. In particular rugby is well supported by the pub and clientele. In 2019 the freeholders have taken on the running the pub directly, as they did some years ago.
