As well as campaigning to save Real Ale, we also organise lots of social events often involving Ale and Cider. As well as the frequent pub crawls and brewery visits we also have one big annual social to some where further a field. This is a great way to meet new people and get involved in the the fun side of CAMRA. These events are open to all, even if you are not a member and just want to see what it is like. And don't worry not all of us have beards!

Edinburgh 2008
Our last annual social took place in sunny Scotland trying to catch local hagis and sing along to bag pipes, when we had enough of that we went to the pub. For more info and pictures click here

In 2005 we visited Prague, a great city with wonderful bars also its quite cheap!
