2021 Chippenham Virtual Beer Festival

As you can’t come to the 2021 Chippenham Beer Festival, it’s decided to come to you! Yes, the 2021 Chippenham Beer Festival has gone virtual. But with real beer of course. Your local CAMRA Branch is determined to reach out and entertain you with a fantastic selection you won’t find anywhere else.

Our expert team of tasters has curated this very special box for you, working closely with The Good Beer Co. to seek out the best of local offerings and get some hard to get specialities at an incredible price. There’s a huge range of tastes, from familiar bitter and IPA through to some “out of the ordinary” beers, including a fabulous, unique brew.

The beers will come with full tasting notes and arrive in the week commencing 19th April.

The price is only £35.00 including free delivery in the local Chippenham area (SN10-SN15 Postcodes) thanks to your local CAMRA Branch Members, or an additional £6.00 for shipping to other addresses.

The beers are one bottle or can of each of the following:

Please note that the exact details of these beers may be subject to minor changes. Should demand exceed supply, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative of similar style and strength.

A Virtual Festival will be held on Saturday 24th with a number of streamed sessions including tutored tastings, "Meet the Brewer" and other beer related events. If you can be patient, it is worth resisting opening your case until then. More details will follow once these activities have been finalised.

In the meantime, don't hesitate as these boxes are selling out fast! Order now from the Good Beer Company.

Our Branch was founded by a couple of real ale enthusiasts in July, 1980, some of whom are still active members to this day. Only 14 months later, on the 16th September, 1981, the North West Wiltshire branch of CAMRA was born and we became a Branch in our own right.

North West Wilts CAMRA covers an area stretching from Crudwell in the north to Seend in the south, and from Kingsdown in the west to Minety to the east. We have some 136 establishments that sell real ale in our Branch area. From rural country inns to town centre pubs, we have them all.

In 1992, we held our first beer festival, in the Neeld Hall Chippenham, and, 28 years later, those organisers are still the driving force behind this highly popular and successful event.

We are an eclectic mix of men and women of all ages who enjoy real ale or cider, support real ale pubs, and have varied social events. We have a strong group of ‘active’ members who regularly turn up at our Branch meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month which are held throughout our area.

There are also a number of socials, brewery trips, and other events held throughout the year.
